THIS JEEP HAS A 3.0 TURBO DIESEL ENGINE.....
When buying my car I received free oil changes for life...after getting my last change it started throwing a code I had never seen before (car was in perfect working condition prior). I looked up the code and it's the swirl motor and has to do with the turbo (car also started acceleration EXTREMELY slowly).
I read up on it and it looks like the majority of the time when this happens it's because a car has been over serviced...I checked my oil level and sure enough it had too much oil...about 1/2 to 3/4 inch above the full line.
MY QUESTION IS: After being over serviced, how long/far would it take for the "blowback" to start causing problems/triggering this code?
