2008 Honda Jazz Metal stuck in tyre

I've noticed this piece of metal stuck in my tyre. How dangerous is this, and how should I go about fixing it? Do I need to replace my tyre?

This is one of the rear tyres on my car

take I to a tire store and have it removed so if it goes flat they can fix it
