2008 Honda Inspire Keyless Entry

I am not able to open/close without using the buttons on remote. Before i was able to press button on door handle and door will open/close or just put my hand on the door handle and it will sense and open door. It no longer does either. i will have to put remote in the remote charger in order to turn the ignition. Before i can have keys in my bag and just turn the knob now it no longer does that if the key is not in the slot next to the ignition.
