I had pretty significant damage to the (passenger side) front and corner of my vehicle due to my husband hitting a deer. The radiator was even damaged. We picked up the vehicle after I paid $100 deductible and my insurance company paid over $6000 to fix my vehicle. The service light kept coming on after we picked it up and the vehicle kept bucking. After resetting it twice the collision center said to take the vehicle to where i bought it to run a diagnostic to determine the problem. Which i did...they said the issue was resolved and the VSA and service light came back on. I took it again to where the vehicle was purchased and they checked it again and said the oil pressure switch needed replacement and that it was from normal wear and tear and not the accident. Could this be an unbelievable coincidence that the switch became shot moments after the first collision center fixed my vehicle or should I argue that it was most likely due to the accident? I don't mind paying out of pocket but I really don't want to be taken for a ride...

it could be normal wear and tear, but it may be a wiring issue that the deer caused. Unless you know that then you are out of luck.
