Does my a/c have an open circut or a short in the system?
about 8 months ago my ac went out, it wasnt blowing any out from any vents. i replaced the blower motor resistor and that brought the ac back on for about 2 months, then it did the same thing and went out again. i then replaced my blower motor this fixed the problem for about 6 monts, about 2 weeks ago the problem reaccured. i tested the blower motor by directly wiring the motor to my battery and it works fine. i took my multimeter and checked the voltage coming fromthe resistor and i have voltage and the connector for the motor coming from the resistor also has voltage. i have check the compressor and it too does work. i have been working on cars for years now and im lost, i have checked fuses and relays. ford even let me swap resistors just to make sure and its still dead. i believe there is a short in the system, what do yall think?
