how do i change headlight bulbs

How do i get the headlamp pulled out after I took off the 2 bolts. It is supposed to slide out but it does not.

You should just be able to pul it straight out with a little bit of an angle as you do so as there are pins on the outer edge. i am including a diagram of the headlamp so you can see the pins and grommets.
