my car wont accelerate past 2rpm then it feels like its jumping or wanting to stall. wont speed up paat 45 mph

It had started to stall a few times, I thought I got some bad gas. Now it will not accelerate. It seems it wants to stall and feels like it wants to stall and feels like a total loss of power.
