Hi,

The input speed sensor is mounted on the transmission's front pump (inside). To access it, the transmission needs to be removed and the pump removed.

I attached a few pics below. Once the pump is off, the sensor simply bolts to the pump housing.

Take a look and let me know.

I'm not sure what you are asking. The pic is the input speed sensor, A shift solenoid is different. Where are you seeing the letter A?

As far as the two codes are concerned, they could indicate an input speed sensor failure or a connection issue. I attached some diagnostics below. I don't know what tools you have, but if you have access to a live data scan tool, it will help.

Let me know.

Hi,

I'm not familiar with the program. Does it give you an option to enter live data and then select a circuit or item?

Hi,

To the best of my knowledge, even if you remove the valve body, you won't be able to access the front pump. Keep in mind, under the valve body are the clutch packs. I just don't feel you would be able to access it. According to the manual, the front pump needs to be removed.

I wish I had a better answer for you.

Dear sir, I watched a lot of videos that said that the bad alternator can cause codes p0717 and p0716, is that true and how to check the voltage of the alternator by scanning tools?

Hi,

On today's vehicles, the correct voltage is important. Low voltage can cause a lot of different problems.

Here is a link that explains how to test the alternator:

All you will need is a voltmeter or multimeter to perform this.

Give that a try and let me know the results.
