Morning, no I do not have a scan tool that can read live data,mine just gives the codes. And yes that was the only code that come up. After doing research I have found this could be a number of issues.From the gas pedal to throttle body and all in between lol, that's why i'm asking the pros. i cant wait to fix this issue

To double check if the sensor is bad the first thing to do is going to do is see what the scan tool reads for the pedal position sensor.

Gas pedal sensor change it out, all problems as fixed, cost me $89.00 for a new one I love this site.

I plugged in a scanner to my car and the code P2138-00 vame up and it read acceleration pedal position sensor 1-2 correlation. what is this in easy terms. Is my car in danger of breaking down.

not likely probably a voltage glitch erase and see if it comes back. there was a TSB on this i'll try and find it.

My car keeps saying engine power reduced and service traction control. When these lights come on I have to immediately pull over and turn my car off if I try to drive it it jerks and I can't go above 20 mph. I put it on the machine and it says Throttle /Pedal /Position Sensor /Switch D Circuit low.. Does this mean I need a new throttle sensor?

it could be a shorted wire or gas pedal have a pro check this as it may be an ecm which if it is he will have to program anyhow

TPS attaches to throttle body easy to remove and replace

the accelerator pedal position sensor is above the accelerator pedal itself, did replacing the sensor not help? what issue are you having with it anyway?
