the temp gauge on the dashboard faces to the left

Now the dash board gauge is not right...suggestions?? So generally the temp gauge on the dashboard faces to the left reading low temp on the bottom and high on the top...now it is facing right....seems to be reading correctly and the fans do come on now...

The engine coolant sensor is in the front of the cylinder head on the driver side here is a guide to help walk you through the repair with diagrams and instructions below.
