2008 Chevrolet Cobalt grinding noise

I hit a pothole and now it makes a grinding sound in the front of my car. we changed one of the tires and the mechanic that change the tire said he didn't see anything physically wrong with the car check the wheel bearings so I'm not sure what it could be
