While standing outside of my car with the car running, I noticed a buzzing noise coming from the front wheel area. I took it to the dealership, they stated it was low on transmission fluid, and they'd found a leak in the output shaft seal, and replaced that.

I'm still hearing the buzzing noise. I took it back, and they said that the noise is not the same noise, that it's probably normal, and probably just a pump (I can't remember which pump). Is this true? If so, which pump? Or should I take it back again? (It's a closed system, so, I can't check the transmission fluid myself to see if it's low).

there is a secondary air pump but it should only be on for about 30 seconds when cold.

i would return to the dealership as they charged you for a repair that did not fix the problem.

This noise is there constantly, as far as I can tell. With the initial problem, the buzzing would only start after the car had been warmed up for a bit. If it was cold, there was not buzzing (at first). Now, this buzzing is there whether the car is cold or hot.

It's not a loud buzzing; I only noticed it initially because I'd left the car running in park while I dropped a letter in the postal box. But, I don't have to be right down to the wheel to hear it, either.

It was "fixed" under warranty.

take it back again and tell them to call you when they repair it correctly.
