Replaced timing belt, water pump, tensioner, and idler pulley. All 3 pulleys were set prior to removing old belt. I
had to remove inner cover to replace water pump, while removing the two cam sprockets the left sprocket lost alignment, replaced water pump and set timing as close as possible. Put car back together, car started up fine, ran fine, except now it surges, rough idle at a stop. I suspect my timing is off a tooth. what can I do to reset timing correctly? Did I damage anything in the process?
