No, easy exit seat if off. I've had 6 Escalade's, two Tahoe's a Hummer and one Suburban ranging from 04'-08' and have never had this issue.

the seat is totally not moving at all. u will need to remove the switch and ck. the voltage and the ground with a test light or volt meter.its usually a bad switch.ck. it and let us know

Seat moves fine via seat controls. Just memory control 1//2 on door do nothing
