Right side power outside mirror moves past normal stop point and needs to be retrained.

If I automatically retract power mirrors, when returning to normal position, right side will continue moving past normal viewing point. It must be manually adjusted. Upon locking or unlocking the car, the same thing happens only with the right side mirror. Is there a procedure to retrain the mirror to stop at the correct spot?
