All of a sudden my shocks/struts seem to be bad, and the SUV is bouncing badly when I hit bumps in the road. Is there a sensor that could be bad, and if so where is this located? My car is a V6.

Sensors are only found in vehicle with electronic suspension system, which your vehicle is not equipped. One bad strut alone can cause the problem.

Thank you for the information.. The service manager at my Toyota dealership told me it is very rare for the struts to go out before 100,000 miles, so I was looking for another cause. Guess I will just suck it up, and pay for new struts.

Visually check the struts for leakages. Struts do go bad overnight and when there are no leakages, even a strut that is weak would still be able to provide some damping force.
