How hot are these supposed to get? They are not impressive at all. A friend of mine has an Envoy that can burn your buns on high if you want. One of the reasons I bought this car was the heated leather seats. I said I'd never get leather w/o heat again. This 2007 is like new - it's mint.

So does the seat get warm at all?Typically when they fail they don't work at all.I know the gm ones work really well I have fixed a lot of them. The elements burn up in them. That's the most common failure on the gm ones.

It does warm up a little -- but not much --- that's why I ask how hot they're supposed to get. It slighly warms -- and I mean slightly -- but it doesn't heat like the GM's do - neither one of the front seats do - not even close. For as little wear that's on this car & the care that was given to it -- I wouldn't think those heaters would be worn out or broken yet.

I have seen seat heaters fail under warranty there not the most durable part on the car that's for sure.
