The turning signal inside started flashing rapidly the signal light quit flashing. the dealer said it was not the bulb. what is the problem

it may have lost ground or the flasher is bad, if it's only the one light check for a bad ground which is on lh iner fender and turn signal relay . cold aslo be multi function switch on steering column.
