ignition coil pack replace

There is more then just spark that causes missfires like compression and fuel.So how bad does it missfire?

It doesn't seem to be all that bad where there's revving sounds. It failed inspection in january because of this and that's when I tried the plugs 1st. The computer reset itself after 100 miles and passed inspection. The light comes on every so often and reads the same everytime I. Bring it to Autozone. Have been using fuel injector cleaner and lucas cylinder treatment.

If the code only comes on every so often i really doubt the coil is bad.When i have seen the coils go bad on those ecotechs the coils will miss really bad or that cylinder wont fire at all.What kind of fuel cleaner are you using?Because a dirty fuel injector would be more likely then a coil from what you have said so far.

Gumout and lucas upper cylinder treatment. What would it sound like if it was missing bad. I do notice the rpm fluctuate at idle from 600 to 700

The gumout isnt a very good fuel injector cleaner iam not sure abiut the lucas one ethier.GM uses chevron techroline for there dirty injectors for there tech bulletines.Thats what we used at the saturn dealer for our dirty injectors.I will the bulletin for you.

All the ones i got were from the parts counter at the dealer.I will get you info soon.

The stuff to get is made by BG its called 44K you can by it on ebay.Also chevron techroline fuel cleaner the more expensive stuff.You can also call the chevy dealer and talk to them about what to use.It makes more sense you have dirty injectors i would persue that first.Then go from there.
