ignition problems

So does the key only move from acc run and start?When you go to turn it off it stop's at the acc position?

the key only moves from acc to run and it will start, but when i go to turn the switch off it stops at acc.

Try playing with the shifter and shifter button see if it turn's off that way.There is a small panel that come's off the the underside of where the key goes in pop that off and you can move the rod to turn the key off.You are going to have remove the center console to check the micro switch and linkage that run's that solenoid that keeps your key from turning off.
