Is there a difference in the firing order of the 3800 between a VIN:K and my old ladies that is a VIN:2? the coil packs from top to bottom run 6-3-2-5-4-1. just trying to make sure they didn't get cross wired somehow.. thank you

Yes, both the vin K and vin 2 firing order on the 3.8L motor is exactly the same. I've attached pictures below. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

what is the fireing order on a pontiac grand prix gtp? it has the 3.4 dohc motor. my car starts up an revse up an shuts off.

You treat a start and die the same as a no start. You try to out what your losing. Spark-- fuel, don't guess about the fuel, use a gage and check pressure, key on and then after it dies. any codes?

whats is the location of the number 1 clynder and the firing order and the location each wire goes on the distributer?
