I found a recall for that issue. Mine does it for the passenger side.

this problem is not a recall. It is a tsb due to junk and beverages getting into the belt latch. clean and vacuum it out and maybe try a Qtip with hot water to clear out beverage. then after dry relatch and see if light goes out ifnot then replacement is nencessary

replacement at owner's expense this is not a manufacturing defect
