When I accelerate from a Stop I hear kind of a ringing noise. It only happens on acceleration and usually stops around 2nd gear or 40 mph. It kind of sounds like a car that has turbo or ecoboost..just as its kicking in. Like a light ringing ..I wonder if it's an O ring or something in the cylinder. It doesn't bother me and it's not obnoxious, I just want to be sure I'm not causing more damage driving it. I'm the second owner and it's done it since I got it 2 months ago. I've also never had a Pontiac before so I can't be sure it's a regular noise or not. Also I use plus gasoline.
