Will only drive in reverse!

was driving car all of a sudden it stopped and would not pull in drive but would drive in reverse had car towed nest day started car and would move forward, as soon as car warmed up stopped pulling but would still drive in reverse what could be wrong

have a trans guy look at it , might be something internal like a clutch seal or awiring issue he will scan it right away to see if it's an electrical problem. If you can check trans fluid that's ok if it's dark brown or black then make sure a trans guy see it
