My son is driving to LA and his check engine light came on. After taking the first exit his car was not shifting right. He checked the fluid with the car running and it is up to full. But he has fluid on top of the engine on the driver side (opposite) of the transmission lines and it smells like transmission fluid. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance for your help.
