Mini Oxygen Sensor

I have been told I need a new oxygen sensor on my Mini (BMW 2nd Gen, 2007). How would I fit one of these myself, because the BMW Dealer wants almost £300 to do it!!!

Was it confirmed by scanning the computer for code/s with a scantool? If not pay no sttention to it unless you have it scanned and it popped the CEL for oxygen sensor code/s
