2007 Mountaineer overheats

I have a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer that overheats on occasion. I have changed the Thermostat, and flushed the coolant system. It is using almost all of the coolant in the reserve in about a month, but i have not seen any signs of a leak while parked, no unusual smells from the exhaust nor any misfires in the engine that would point towards the head gaskets. But when I have the A/C on, it tends to get hot. Also 40% of the time, there is a louder roar from the engine/engine fan and loss of power when accelerating, making me point towards the intake or Fan Clutch. Any suggestions on what to look towards for an answer?

DO YOU HAVE A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON? IF SO A POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORE MAY POSSIBLY RETRIEVE YOU CODES FOR FREE!!!...THIS WOULD BE WHERE TO BEGIN LOOKING FOR THE PROBLEM!

AS FAR AS LOSS OF POWER/ ROAR????? SORTA SOUNDS LIKE A SLIPPING TRANNY???.....1ST THING, THAT POPPED INTO MY HEAD!

YOU DO NOT HAVE A "FAN CLUTCH"......YOU HAVE AN ELECTRIC FAN

IS IT RUNNING, WHEN THE VEHICLE SEEMS TO BE OVERHEATING????...EVER GET OUT AND PUT YOUR EYES ON IT???

IF IT'S NOT RUNNING, MIGHT HAVE A RELAY, TEMP SWITCH, BAD MOTOR, LOOSE CONNECTION OR SOME OTHER ISSUE PREVENTING IT FROM COMING ON

MANY TIMES, A "VETERAN" PARTS STORE GUY, CAN MAKE GOOD CALLS, AS TO WHAT MAY BE WRONG....HE HAS THE "HANDS AND EYES ON", ABILITY WE DO NOT HAVE HERE!

Please elaborate on this. My 2007 mountaineer does this about every 6 months. Have had 3 new radiators, 3 new housing systems, and much more. Just had engine replaced due to cracked heads, due to running hot! I picked up Friday after engine replacement, and the roaring has started yet again. Temp gauge isn't hot yet, but the roar was always a precursor to it running hot. I'm at my wits end with this truck. :(
