Hello,
It sounds like an issue with the park interlock, it is controlled by the intelligent servo module (ISM).
It is a failsafe feature that triggers the message.
When the ISM fails vehicle can get stuck in park. And you will not be able to get it out of park unless the servo is replaced.
The message is simply a warning before the failure of the module.
The tricky part of the servo is that the replacement servo has to be programmed and it requires specialized scan tools to accomplish.
