My 07 mazda pulled codes for misfiring cylinder number one. I did a compression test and it said it was only at 64 psi. When i eccelerate it hesitates really bad. What could the problem be and what's the best way to fix it?

If your compression is that low, pour oil into the spark plug hole and do the compression test again. If the compression goes up you need new rings. If not, you might need to have new valves installed. Both require removing the head. Test the other cylinders and see where they are right now.
