2007 Kia Sportage Rear brake rotor

Not really a problem. I am just about to do the rear brakes including replacing the rotors on my Kia. Do you have a video for this. I've never replaced the rear rotors on a car. Is it basically the same as the front rotors with the exception of the E-brake pads?

It's exactly the same as the front. You have the same style parking brake that Chrysler used for decades. It makes brake service real simple. The parking brake is a regular drum brake inside the rotor. The rotors can be machined just like any other rotor as long as they'll end up above the published legal minimum thickness, but new rotors are so inexpensive that it doesn't pay to machine old ones.

You may need a pair of bolts to pull the rotors off. Use some high-temperature brake grease where the rotor contacts the hub, where the pads contact the caliper and piston, and where the caliper slides on its mount. Don't forget to prepare the new pads by beveling the leading edges of the linings if the manufacturer didn't do that already.
