2007 Kia Rio Stop lights

I am trying to find out why my wife's stop lights won't work? I already check the stop light fuse that's located in the fuse box in the cab. Haven't checked the bulbs yet cause I assume none of the lights would work if the bulb is out right? What should I check next?

check to see if power is going through stoplight switch then have scanned to see if your stoplight failure module has failed.
