Hi, I am from Singapore.

Recently I cleaned my ECU connector with a brush and accidently broke off 2 pins. As a result the gear jumps to gear 2 or 3 when I am driving. I scanned the fault code and it shows P0746 n P0743 (solenoid). Had it checked thinking my auto transmission had gave way but the problem lies with the ECU. A new ECU cost a bomb and I have only 1.5 years left to use my car. (In Singapore cars can only be used for 10 years only. We have to renew the certificate of usage which is in the region of SGD70k if we want to extend it for another 10 years) So not worth buying a brand new one.

I source out in the net but couldn't find any with the exact parts. I found a plenty but they are all in Russia n the sites are all in russian.

I found a plenty on ebay but different parts no and for 2.0 engine but same year manufactured. Mine is a 1.6. The ecu wire harness looks the same. I am sure it can fit but will it posed any problem to my car? Should I tune it ? pls advise. Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Noh

As long as the ECU part No is the same you should not have a problem.
