2007 Hummer H3 Key fob reprogramming

I recently had my battery replaced and everything on the key fob works except the auto start and trunk opener. I want to know if I can reprogram it myself without taking it to a shop or dealer.

It sounds like you have an aftermarket system, as there was no remote start feature on your H3 from the factory. A factory transmitter should only have lock, unlock, and a panic button. A factory keyless transmitter is programmed using a scan tool.
