power window wiring diagram?

The driver window works fine. All the other 3 windows will not roll down with either the driver side control or the passenger control. The child lock is not on and seems to work. I can hear a click when the child safety is off but the window does not roll. The fuses are fine. Any help? Thanks.

Hello TNGUYENWA,

This sounds like a classic main window switch problem, what happens is the switch contacts become dirty and short not allowing power to get to the other windows. Here is a guide and diagrams will help you fix the problem. The controls (power) run through the main switch to feed the other windows this why the other windows dont work. Here is a guide to help you test for the problem and the wiring diagrams below so you can see how the system works.

GLP. Thanks for the hard work and committed updates.

I have exactly the same issue as you did and solved with a new PMCU. My problem is, I cannot locate a PMCU. I have a 2004 EXL.

Can you (or anyone) give a link to a source for these?

Hold the key down for 2-5 seconds after the window is down.
Once your window is all the way down, hold the button down for 2-5 seconds. Release the button after you've held it down for a short period of time. On some vehicles, the required time to reset the window is 2 seconds.
