My engine started vibrating badly one day and I did some research and it was clearly caused from a bad engine mount. I had the passenger mount replaced with a new hydraulic mount and that one failed a couple days later according to the mechanic. He said there was one that was designed to stop the mount form failing, so i had him install that one. The thing is, the engine vibration still seems to be pretty bad. Vibrates when starting then when ever in acceleration. When you put it in to neutral the vibration stops. So again the motor mount seems to be the problem. The mechanic says that with this mount that that this shaking is expected. However, I am not to certain. What should I do/ is vibration normal in the engine/ will it cause any damage? Is there any chance he installed it wrong?
