I do not know if you already new what the codes were, so here they are and want to check first.

The codes P0961, P0871, and P0701 are related to the transmission in your vehicle. Here is a brief description of each code:

P0961 - Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Control Circuit/Open This code indicates that there is a problem with the pressure control solenoid "A" control circuit.

P0871 - Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch "C" Circuit Range/Performance. This code indicates that there is a problem with the transmission fluid pressure sensor/switch "C" circuit.

P0701 - Transmission Control System Range/Performance. This code indicates that there is a problem with the transmission control system.

So, it sounds like the TCVM is not working please check all fuses and if okay replace the TCM. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
