I have a 07 dodge 3500 its a stick shift but it asks for the sjifts too early what can this be?

That light is to tell inspectors when to shift to keep the emissions within acceptable levels, not to tell you when to shift. If you shift when the light turns on, emissions will stay very low. You can still shift when it feels right. Don't worry about the light.
