2007 Dodge Charger oil pan gasket removal

I wanna remove the oil pan 2 change the gasket but the 2 back bolts holding it r both nut and bolt turning and I can take them off I try putting pressure done n Turn it at the same time and nothing is working

Do you mean the bolt is turning at the top? Are you able to get anything in there to stop it?

I tried putting some small pliers n sum small channel locks but I can't get it.....I'm trying 2 get it in between the motor n oil pan ....it's the 2 back guide bolts.....I'm so frustrated I got like 4 days n still can't get it

Thnx I've removed it.....but now I got a bigger problem guys? This helper of mine messed up the rear main Seal block now I need 2 remove that cuz the 2 guide bolts broke ....the part is 80 bucks but I need 2 know how to replace it.?? Do I need to take out the motor or drop the transmission? ????

If the rear main oil seal is damaged, you have to separate the engine and transmission. It has a 1 piece seal and can't be installed while the two components are together. I would think removing the transmission would be quicker and easier than the engine.

After thought... When you reinstall the trans, check, check, and then recheck to make sure ALL WIRING it properly routed and not going to get pinched together between the engine and trans, or anything else. Shorting the PCM or TCM can be an expensive and frustrating mistake.

I just checked my online manual. They provide pics for transmission components, but not removal. You may want to get a good service manual at a local parts store that has pics and steps to remove it.
