I am driving along and my door locks cycle, Track Stabilizer warning light goes on, and warning bell goes off. I have changed the mega fuse, removed, cleaned and installed all cables on positive and negative main terminals. I have read change the cables entirely, but not sure that will fix, My alternator was checked and was putting out 14 amps. When I have the issue my amp gauge reads about 10-12 amps. The issue started a year ago when I had my battery die and I replaced it. When I cleaned the terminals it was good for about four months, but now it has returned. Sometimes when I make a right hand turn it cause the issue to happen. I have experienced it when I accelerate and hit the brakes hard. I assume when the truck pulls hard on the amps it causes it. Why? Does my alternator have an intermittent problem or a bad regulator? The Internet is full of these stories, but no real solutions. Then most common topic I found is the cables are corroded inside and cause a drop in voltage causing the computer to fail. They look fine on the ends. Someone has to have the answer since so many Chevrolet's have this issue. I could use some good advice. Thank you.

Thanks, I will try replacing the belt and let you know. I have read so many stories and remedies. The most effective remedy was replacing the cables and alternator. I am tired of this intermittent issue. If something would just quit working completely, it would be great. I thought about turning into an AutoZone as soon as it drops voltage to have the alternator checked again. $159.00 for a new one. I miss the old cars with no brains.
