Actually, years ago some people would add a quart of transmission fluid to the oil a day or two before the next oil change. The different additives in it helped dissolve sludge buildup and move it to the filter. If you're really worried, just drain the oil and replace it, otherwise, have the oil changed in the next few days.
As long as we're on the topic of wrong fluids, the one you really DO have to worry about is to not get any hint of petroleum product in the brake fluid. That includes engine oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, axle grease, and penetrating oil. Just one drop of those products requires every part in the brake system that has rubber parts that contact the fluid to be replaced. That is a very expensive repair. Experienced mechanics even wash their hands with soap and water to prevent getting fingerprint grease in the brake fluid.
