I have a code p1174 which tells me to replace the 02 sensor which I have done but my check engine light won't go away. I've also replaced the spark plugs. Any ideas?

P1174 – Fuel Trim Adaptation Inactive Bank 1 Malfunction

Fault codes never say to replace parts. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis. Your mechanic will connect a scanner to view live data, then watch what the oxygen sensors do in response to introducing extra fuel and extra air.
