What would cause my engine to tick bad wen i step on gas pedal. I was late changing the oil the last time and ever since then my engine wont stop ticking please help me solve this problem. And also im hearing a rattling noise coming from the left front tire area like something is loose any ideas what that could be

I wish I could hear it. That would make things easier. However, does the engine tick at an idle or only when you accelerate? It could be a lifter, exhaust leak, bearing... How far past due were you for the oil change? Was the oil really low?

It ticks at both idle and acceleration. The gauge was at 1% oil life and about 2-3 months past due.

Well, we have two choices. Either I can have you upload a video to youtube so I can hear it myself, or I am going to have to ask you to have a mechanic near you listen to it. They shouldn't charge you anything to just listen to it for a few seconds.

As far as the youtube thing, I have had people upload videos there and then send me the URL so I could go there and listen to the problem. Is that a possibility?
