When car is put in drive engine will not rev up to accelerate. But put back into park or neutral engine will rev also if you apply brakes engine will rev but as soon as u release brakes it won't rev

the ECM talks to the transmission control module as you press the accelerator because the pedal has no cable running to the motor. its drive by wire. in other words the accelerator sends a signal to the engine and the transmission electronically. your problem lies in the network of these modules and sensors, and youre going to need a diagnostic computer to find out what it is
