The front headlight on passenger side went out. I bought another and the gentleman at the parts store said he would not install it because it appeared water had gotten in the housing. The seal was damaged - you could see it. My son works with a "shade tree" mechanic who was able to install the bulb and repair the seal. But when he installed the bulb, BOTH headlights quit working. Any suggestions? Could it be a fuse?

It may have a blown fuse now but you have to find out what caused the fuse to blow in the first place. Something is short circuited there.
