Recall on 2007 Buick Lucerne

I received a recall notice for my 2007 Buick Lucerne to remove the heated windshield washer unit. I have already removed the fuse for that unit.Will that sufficiently disable the module?

IF you got the right fuse, you should be okay. However, take it to the dealer to have the proper repairs done. I'm not sure exactly which recall you are refering to. If it made it to recall level, it needs repaired.
