Hi. I have been having this droning noise that has been coming from the engine. I finally realized that if I start the car with the a/c off, there is a small noise that sounds like something is broken inside something and keeps moving around, but then when i turn the a/c on, this loud droning sound gradually becomes louder and then it stays loud for the whole car ride. But if I turn it off, then the droning sound disappears and then its just that small crackling sound. I've asked this question on Bimmerpost and one person responded saying it could be my a/c pulley? I just wanted to get another opinion before I spend money on something I don't need. Thank you very much for your time.
