2007 BMW 335i Mileage: 5,000. I have a turbo charged engine but I can't find any boost gauge? I always thought that they needed one.

There isn't one on the newer models on older cars you used to have a single turbo that had quite a lag before it built up enough boost to be useful. BMW has developed two small displacement turbo chargers that effectively eliminated the turbo lag and produce impressively smooth acceleration.
