I replaced my manual valve or gear selector valve in my transmission. The gears move with the shifter inside the car when i press the emergency gear release under the boot but I cannot turn the car on. I am assuming the battery is just too dead but the bottom screen on my dashboard does not show my gear. What would cause my car to not recognize the gear its in and reflect it on the screen?
