My Acura MDX had a battery drain problem. If the car is not driven for 3 days, the battery is completely dead. After replacing 3 batteries, I found the problem by disconnecting fuses one by one for each devices, and finally, the stereo was causing the issue. I have disconnected stereo fuse, and the problem has gone away. However, how do I fix the stereo problem? Do I need to replace it with off market stereo or can I fix the problem. or do I need to go to the dealer to get this fixed.

Such problems are usually an internal fault with the radio so it has to be repaired or replaced.

There are various systems used and aftermarket stereos might not be compatible. It is best to have it checked and left to professionals for such systems.

The only way to be sure it's the radio that's the problem is to unplug the radio. The radio fuse feeds power to several other devices. The most common parasitic draw I see is the hands free link control unit. There are Honda bulletins out about it.
