My Kia check engine light is on, I had it scanned and codes p2135/ throttle position sensor /acceration pedal sensor malfunction , code p0300 multiple miss fires. MY question is is the throttle position sensor changeable or do I have replace the whole throttle body. Also how do I test the acceration pedal sensor. The car runs but while driving the car loses power , I have to cut it off and start it back runs fine but a sort while later same thing happens. What can I do. Also how much do you think it may cost. Thank you in advance

because of the misfire code p0300 have a pro diagnose this as they are murder to try to find out what is wrong causing the code. also have the fuelpressure checked because it is setting acode doesn't mean that is the problem this In relation to p2135 code.

To address your other question..... no, the TPS cannot be serviced separately. There are 2 of them and they are internal to the electronic throttle body.

Actually the TPS is separate from the throttle body. I had to replace mine. The loca auto part stores tried giving me wrong sensors (probably ok on a 2006 not 2006.5) I ended up going to a Kia dealer and got the part. It has been fine for a couple years now. I now have that dreaded P0300 code and that is how I found this post.

No, not if you have an electronic throttle. There are 2 different 2.7 engines in that car. One has a cable throttle and one has electronic. Only the cable operated has an external TPS and that is not what this poster has.
